Deal of the Day: Amazon's Magazine Subscription Sale

One of my favorite summer activities is to sit by a swimming pool and get lost in a magazine.  Home magazines, travel magazines, fashion magazines . . . I love them all!  But I hate paying $5 a pop for one, or even worse, $20 for an afternoon of reading a few mags!  So why not go ahead and get a full year's subscription to a great magazine for the cost of a single issue at the store? 

Amazon.com is running some super deals on magazine subscriptions through today.  For $5, you can get a YEAR'S subscription to, among others, Marie Claire, Town & Country, and Parenting:

And for $10 a year, you can get magazines like Elle, Men's Journal, Smart Money, or Harper's Bazaar.

There is a wide selection, including Popular Science and a few other sports-related magazines.  However, if you don't see a magazine you love, I recommend you keep checking back because Amazon quite frequently runs $5-$8 sales on magazine subscriptions.  There is no shipping or sales tax added to the cost.

Most of these subscriptions come with auto-renewal, but Amazon will notify when you it is time to renew and if you are not happy with the offered price, you can just cancel.  I have done this several times and never experienced any problems.
